Aligned Curriculum & State Standards
The Covenant House Academies have partnered with Education 2020, a leader in computer-based K-12 education services for alternative schools. Each lesson includes video instruction from a highly qualified teacher and traditional classroom instruction. Teachers, paraprofessionals and intervention specialists teach and guide students through challenging material.

Quality Education
Our teachers are experienced, qualified and certified in their fields to ensure each student receives a quality education. Our teachers choose to work at the Covenant House Academies because they believe all children deserve to have the best education possible. Parents are welcome to review our faculty credentials!

Every child can learn and every student deserves to be treated with absolute respect and unconditional love!

High School Diploma for 16-22 Year Olds
Students ages 16-22, and those with special needs up to age 25, can earn a high school diploma at one of the three Covenant House Academies. Our tuition-free school gets students on track and prepares them for life beyond high school.

Credit Recovery Available
Earn as many credits as you need! Each student picks up where they left off in high school and works towards their high school diploma. Many students regain their credits and return to their high school and graduate with their class.

Year Round Class Schedules and Enrollment
Classes are offered year-round. Students can choose to attend morning or afternoon sessions to make room for work or family obligations. Those eager to graduate sooner can attend both sessions.

School Hours
8 AM - Noon or 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Homework and Practice Available 24/7
Students can access their practice lessons and homework materials online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – and get credit!

Vocational Assistance
Students learn job readiness skills and receive job placement assistance while earning their diploma.

Prepare for College & for Life
Covenant House Academies are dedicated to preparing students to succeed by teaching essential academic and life skills. Our staff assist each student with pursuing college or vocational training. Through our partnership with Wayne County Community College, students are able to take advantage of dual enrollment.

Parent Involvement Cherished
We encourage parents, guardians and caregivers to be involved every step along their student’s journey toward success! It takes a village to raise a child, and the village will celebrate the child’s success.
