Crisis Center

When kids come to us from the streets they are often cold, scared, and hungry.

We immediately welcome them into our Crisis Center where staff offer them a meal, clothes, and show them to a warm bed.

Many of the kids have come from abusive and neglectful situations, and need to be assured that they are safe and wanted.

Sometimes they just need someone to listen to their story. That's why our ultimate goal is sharing unconditional love with a young person.

Most of our kids have dropped out of school and are unemployed. Our kids are lacking needed life skills to become independent.

While staying at the center, our staff designs an individual plan for each young adult, connecting them with the services they need through the Job Club, Education Program and Community Service Centers, as well as providing counseling. They are expected to help with chores, get up early and spend their day productively pursuing their education through our GED program or the Life Skills High Schools, as well as working on employment skills at the Job Club.
