The Covenant House Community Service Center-West (CSCW) offers preventative services for at-risk youth ages 13-22 and helps to address the root cause of homelessness.

The CSCW is heavily involved in the Hispanic community. As part of a collaborative approach for higher education, the Center has partnered with the Mexican Council.

CSCW services include:

  • Counseling
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Life Skills Workshops
  • Violence and Substance Abuse Prevention
  • English as a Second Language (ESL) Instruction
  • Parenting Skills
  • Mentoring Programs
  • Family Counseling



More than 30,000 youth contacts have been made through the Covenant House Community Service Centers.

CHM has helped 297 young people earn their General Equivalency Diploma and over 200 youth to advance to higher education.

Covenant House Community Service Centers have conducted more than 3,200 individual and 1,100 group counseling sessions and responded to more than 275 crisis calls.
