Here's a list of current partners helping to make life better for our kids:

Beyond Bullets
Partnering with Covenant House Michigan, Beyond Bullets is Downtown Community Television Center’s (DCTV) media campaign in increasing awareness about our nation’s gun violence and how it impacts communities. This anti-gun campaign looks to draw attention to people who are working to prevent violence across the country. There are six video journalists for DCTV who create videos released each week showing and sharing stories of teenagers they have talked to about gun violence. Videos also are on stories about people who are dealing with gun violence in their own kind of way. Even though BB is based out of New York, there have been four other cities that have been visited in order to produce videos, one being Detroit. One of the journalists visited Covenant House Michigan and made a video on the kids’ stories and proceeded to find out whether they have been affected or if they have affected someone else by using gun violence.

Made in Michigan Movement
Made in Michigan Movement is an organization whose mission is to inspire Michigan residents and consumers all across Michigan to change their purchasing behaviors to the goods and services produced from their own state. MIMM does this by utilizing education, awareness and relationship building to encourage Michigan residents and consumers. This organization wants to advance Michigan’s economy by inspiring the state’s purchasing culture towards Michigan made products rather than goods and services produced elsewhere. MIMM has supported Covenant House Michigan financially throughout the years – donating 10% of their annual profits. They team with CHM in spreading the awareness of youth homelessness.

MVG Family Aid Center
MVG Family Aid Center has graciously volunteered their time at Covenant House Michigan in reorganizing the clothes in the clothes closet. MVG Family Aid Center began their ties with CHM in accepting re-donations that didn’t apply to the residents at CHM. Since then members have volunteered their time to help CHM. MVG Family Aid Center’s mission statement is to assist and provide basic need services to the domestically abused and severely ill.

Recycling for Charities

This non-profit not only tries to raise funds for charities, but also helps individuals protect the environment. RFC contributes a minimum of $1 to the foundation or cause selected by the donator. One of the charities RFC helps is our very own organization – Covenant House Michigan.
