Save a Young Person This Christmas!
|

|
This Christmas season we are asking you to help us keep our doors open so that young people like Stephanie have a sanctuary to find safety and warmth. Snow has already started falling, and freezing temperatures will be part of Michigan life until late March. The scary part is that over 3,000 kids in the Metro Detroit area alone don’t have a place to call home. Like Stephanie, they’ll be thankful to find a shelter that blocks the wind while praying they remain safe throughout the night.
That’s why we need your help now. We need support to provide shelter, a warm bed, and three hot meals a day.

Over 400 candles of hope...

Thank you to everyone who attended the vigil, raised money, and collected items to help our young people. More than 400 people lit candles, proclaiming their desire to end youth homelessness and raise awareness of the tragedy.

Get a Bigger Refund in April!

Michigan has an incentive tax refund when you donate to a homeless service. (that’s us!) You can get half of your donation back up to $200 ($100 back) for individuals and $400 ($200 back) for those filing joint returns. Make sure you get your donation in before December 31st!
