Merry Christmas from Sam Joseph

Dear Friend,

Our kids are an inspiration to me. If you or I had suffered the way these young people have, I’m not sure we would be ready to count our blessings and be grateful for everyday. Yet, seeing their smiles and hearing their gratitude makes me stop and recount my own blessings.

I thank God for each and every one of our kids. It is a miracle that they have escaped their pasts and made their way home to us – this is something I never want to take for granted. I am so grateful to my staff and volunteers, the men and women who vigilantly show our kids an outpouring of love and encourage them to grow day by day. I am not sure how to express how especially thankful I am that this year that in the midst of economic upheaval we have had the means to provide for our kids. I feel richly blessed to have you as part of our family of supporters. You make all of these blessings possible.

On behalf of all our young people, like Essence, Nikia, Antione, Patricia and Christian, I ask you to be as generous this Christmas season as you are able. You can donate online today to help us.
