Tyeisha

Tyeisha came to Covenant House nearly a year ago. She had been through many terrible situations as a child and was unable to deal with situations. She ran away from home several times and eventually found her way to Covenant House. We helped her find some stability and figure out the next steps for her life.

When she first arrived she began to work at McDonalds, but soon landed an internship at Double Tree Hotel. Soon after she graduated from Goodwill’s Hospitality Program. She was recently hired at Double Tree full-time, and has been doing great there. Her dream is to be a math teacher, so she is planning to enroll at Henry Ford Community College soon to study education. She likes to crochet, make puzzles, laugh and eat.
