Thadeus

Thadeus is 20 years old and currently resides at CHM's Crisis Center. After being taken away from his crack-addict parents, Thadeus began his journey through the system. At age 13, he was picked up from a children's home by his uncle.

"After being taken away from my Mom, I used to pray for someone to come for me," said Thadeus. "So, when my uncle showed up, I was so happy that finally, someone cared." Shortly after, the abuse began and Thadeus realized his uncle was only there for money. He ran away and began jumping from place to place, until he ended up on the streets.

Today, Thadeus lives at CHM and is preparing for his GED. He plans to go to Baker College to study Business Management. Thadeus is thankful for his new beginning.
