Emanuel
Meet Emanuel. He came to Covenant House Michigan nearly two years ago after the Outreach Team picked him up from an unfit living situation. He had been forced to sleep in an attic with no heat that was so bad that his toes had frostbite! Like many of our kids, the relatives he was living with just didn’t want him, and certainly didn’t encourage him to grow and work towards goals.
Emanuel began his journey in our Crisis Center where he was welcomed with open arms. After the treatment he had endured, he was so grateful to have a warm bed, food and clothing. He was finally treated with love and respect. Emanuel earned with Covenant House by his side. We are so proud that he graduated from Everest Institute in 2008, and has continued to work hard every day. He is currently working full time and saving up money so that he can have a place of his own.
Donate now to help Emanuel and other kids in our programs.
