Angel

Angel currently resides in the Crisis Center. Looking at her picture, you would be amazed how much pain hides behind her beautiful smile. Her abusive, alcoholic mother has scarred her spirit, leaving her feeling unloved and alone.

Angel was able to run away from her mother’s house, but not break free from the abuse. Her built up resentment caused her to lash out at the people in her life, resulting in problems at school. Consequently, her unstable living environments and aggression left her without her high school diploma and homeless.

Today, Angel is determined to move forward and leave her past behind her. She is attending school and will have her high school diploma in three months. She plans to join the Navy next fall.
