I Care About Lizzie

This is Lizzie. Lizzie portrays one of the first kids who came to Covenant House. She doesn’t have a home. Please care about her and all the other kids who sleep on the streets with nowhere and no one to turn to. Join our mission of love and advocate for kids who need their voices to be heard.

• Schedule a Covenant House speaker to visit your church, school, workplace or club. Help us to share the stories of the kids who come to Covenant House, kids who were once homeless.
• Buy and sell Lizzie T-shirts. Wear your shirt and educate the community about youth homelessness and Covenant House Michigan's efforts.
• Set up a collection at your workplace, school, church, organization, and/or in the local community. We are in need of hygiene items, monetary donations and new hats and gloves. Find out how you can get involved with our Christmas giving program.
• Give someone you know a brochure about Covenant House Michigan. They may be our next volunteer, donor, advocate or they may know a teen that is in need of shelter or another Covenant House service.
• Direct people to our website. Help them learn about youth homelessness. Encourage them to take action and sign a pledge or petition.
