Holiday Cheer! - A HUGE Thank You!

We wanted to take a minute to make sure we say THANK YOU to everyone who gave monetary donations and gifts to make this Christmas special. We were overwhelmed by the generous outpouring despite the bleak economy.

MGM Grand generously throws a holiday party for our kids every year. You can read about this year’s celebration here.

Many donors share their love with our kids in writing, and one young friend, Leah, wrote this:

Dear Kids and Teens,
We had a tough year in our family...Since money has been tight we opted to give of what we have instead of receive. Even when I wrote a letter to Santa I said, “Dear Santa Clause, I want a loving and healthy family and whatever you give me is great.”

I hope what I am sending will help children in need. My mom tells me things could be worse, there are always people less fortunate. I will say a special prayer in mass this Christmas. May God bless you always and keep you safe. May your heart be filled with joy this holiday season and throughout the New Year.
