About Jeffrey Jorissen:

Jeffrey Jorissen has been Director of Corporate Development since 2007. In this role Jorissen is responsible for the development of financial and operating strategies. Previously Jorissen served as Chief Financial Officer from the time of the Company’s initial public offering in 1993. Sun Communities is a real estate investment trust, or REIT, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The company owns and operates a portfolio of 136 manufactured housing communities, including recreational vehicle communities, in eighteen states.

Jorissen was with the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand for sixteen years, including eight years as a partner specializing in real estate as well as directing the financial statement examinations of numerous public companies.

Mr. Jorissen is active in numerous charitable endeavors including the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist.

Jeff is a native Detroiter and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Detroit. He attended the University of Michigan and received a Masters of Business Administration Degree. He is also a CPA.

Jeff resides in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan with his wife Joanne. They have three children.
