About Dan Weingartz:

Dan Weingartz is President and a Partner of Weingartz Supply Co., Inc. a successful family-owned business, founded in 1945, and supplier of outdoor power equipment. Dan Weingartz is passionate about the important role of small business in Michigan’s economy and in people's lives. He prides his family on having continued success in the difficult task of running a business and maintaining their close personal relationship. As President of Weingartz, Dan is responsible for all operations and bottom-line profitability of their four store locations in Utica, Farmington Hills, Cedar Springs and Clarkston.

He has served as Store Manager, Human Resource Manager and General Administrator. He managed operations of a newly acquired location in Waterford, Michigan. Responsibilities included growing sales, staffing entire workforce and customer service management. In addition Dan took on various positions growing up through the family business: everything from store management, customer service, accounting and sweeping floors.
Dan Weingartz earned a bachelor of science in business administration from Central Michigan University.

Dan has served as Chairman of the Board of the Michigan Green Industry Association, the trade association for green industry professionals in Michigan. Dan is also a member of Legatus, Vistage and the Ohio Michigan Equipment Dealers Association (Past Council Director).

In addition, he is actively involved in the community and currently serves as Board President for Covenant House Academy Central and Director of Macomb County Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers.

Dan and his beautiful wife Kristine have four wonderful children Peyton, Abby, William & Adam.

He was appointed a member of the Covenant House Michigan Board of Directors in September 2009.
