Coming Soon: Cov Love Cafe

Eventually I want to become a chef. The good news is I’m getting help with that goal while I’m here at Covenant House. As part of my stay at Covenant House, I participate in the Total Me program during the day. This semester we’re working on cooking skills! We’re learning how to make home-made ice cream and pizza. At the end of the semester we’ll serve it to everyone at Covenant House, and we’re calling it the Cov Love Café. I’m really excited to continue cooking and share my love of the kitchen with everyone here at CHM.

I’m really liking it here at Covenant House. I’ve been here almost a month. I like how the program is set up, and I think if I keep enforcing myself, a lot of work can get done to prepare me for my future independence.
