McDonald's Hosts Christmas Party for our Kids...Kids!
Christmas at McDonald’s
Southeast Michigan McDonald’s owners/operators hosted a Christmas party for ten young families that Covenant House Michigan serves. The families received a free dinner, and gifts that included games, books, clothing and a toy from the children’s wish lists. Each family also received a $50 gift card to help with holiday meal costs.
Ronald McDonald was on hand to entertain the children with silly jokes and lots of clowning around, and posed for lots of pictures with the kids. The owner/operators enjoyed playing Santa, giving each child three or four gifts, which the children eagerly opened. Even the babies received gifts of diapers and snowsuits.
McDonald’s also made a $500 donation to Covenant House for children and young adults who are found by the Outreach Team to be in need of bare essentials such as food, underwear, or warm hats and gloves.
The invited families were “Lovin’ It!” Thanks McDonald’s for caring about our kids and their families!
